青海湖是中国最大内陆咸水湖，湖面海拔3196米，藏语称“措温布”，意为“青色的海”。核心景区由南岸二郎剑与北岸仙女湾组成。
二郎剑景区为青海湖核心观光与集散中心，狭长半岛直插湖心，视野开阔，是观湖绝佳处。景区设施完善，可乘船游湖、体验藏族歌舞与藏族文化，兼具自然风光与休闲体验。
仙女湾景区是国际重要湿地，水草丰美，生物多样性丰富。秋冬时节大天鹅云集栖息，春夏可见黑颈鹤、斑头雁等珍稀鸟类。环湖最高的三牲拉则人文景观，尽显藏地文化底蕴。
Qinghai Lake is China’s largest inland saltwater lake, situated at an altitude of 3,196 meters. In Tibetan, it is known as Tso Ngönpo, meaning “The Blue Sea.” The core scenic area consists of two main destinations: Erlangjian on the southern shore and Fairy Bay on the northern shore.
Erlangjian Scenic Area serves as the main hub for sightseeing and visitor services at Qinghai Lake. Its narrow peninsula extends deep into the lake, offering expansive panoramic views and making it one of the best vantage points for taking in the scenery. The area is well equipped with visitor facilities, where guests can enjoy boat cruises, experience traditional Tibetan song and dance, and immerse themselves in local culture – a perfect blend of natural beauty and leisure.
Fairy Bay Scenic Area is a wetland of international importance, renowned for its lush aquatic vegetation and rich biodiversity. In autumn and winter, it becomes a sanctuary for large flocks of whooper swans, while spring and summer attract rare species such as black-necked cranes and bar-headed geese. The area also features Sansheng Laze Cultural Site, the highest cultural landmark along the lakeshore, showcasing the spiritual and historical depth of Tibetan heritage.
